Barton Skills Series

Barton men's lacrosse coach, John Hayden, will be coming to Greenville to hold a clinic series this summer! Our Pitt lax boys will have the opportunity to improve their skills and be successful on the lacrosse field from coach Hayden and members of the Barton team!

DAYS/TIMES: Mondays from 6:00-7:30

LOCATION: Boyd Lee Park Multi-Purpose Field (next to sand volleyball)

COST: $35/session OR pick one of the following packages: 

  • 4 for $120
  • 8 for $200

  • June 13 - Shooting & Faceoff Clinic
  • June 27 - Skills Clinic
  • July 11 - Offense/Defense Clinic
  • July 18 - 5 Drills (Critical Skills, Lax IQ, and Team Concepts)
  • July 25 - Shooting & Goalie Clinic
  • August 1 - Skills Clinic
  • August 8 - Offense/Defense Clinic
  • August 15 - 5 Drills (Critical Skills, Lax IQ, and Team Concepts)

JH Rose Girls Camp 2022

JH Rose Varisty Girls Lacrosse is offering a 1 week instructional camp for elementary and middle school girls to learn the game of Lacrosse; “the fastest sport on two feet.” Emphasis is on fun and fundamentals, no experience necessary.  Sticks and goggles are available only for new players. 
 
When: July 18-22; 8:00am-12:30pm
 
Where: JH Rose High School practice lacrosse field
 
Fee: $125; Includes a reverisble pennie and Jimmy John's lunch everyday! Current Pitt Lax participants can receive $25 off if they bring a friend NEW to lacrosse! Contact coach Celie for access to this discount.
 
Tuesday-Friday we will have daily themes!
     -Tuesday: Silly Socks Day (wear your favorite pair of crazy socks) 
     -Wednesday: Wacky Tacky Day (wear your wackiest ensemble)
     -Thursday: Team Spirit Day (wear your favorite college/team apparel)
     -Friday: Color Coordinated Day (wear the same color shirt, shorts and socks)

This event is open to any girl or boy interested in learning more about lacrosse and that has never participated in one of our programs before. The focus will be on stick skills, so current Pitt Lax kids are also encouraged to attend, and BRING THEIR FRIENDS! Kids only need to come with a water bottle and wearing comfortable clothing. We will have sticks for new participants to use at the event.

When: Wednesday, August 31

Premier Boys Summer 2022

This registration is for boys participating on the Pitt Premier team.

 

Graduation Years:

2025 & 2026.

 

Practices:  

BEGINNING May 31

Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 at JH Rose

 

Fees:

Minimum of $150/player* 

*Additional fees applied based on tournaments attended (limited scholarships available)

Players must have current US Lacrosse membership.

 

Tournaments:

Crystal Coast Showcase: Newport, NC (September 24-25; +$75/player) 

Southern Lacrosse Showdown : Bermuda Run, NC (Oct 15-16; +$80/player)

Lake Norman Fall Classic : Mooresville, NC (Nov 5-6; +$105/player)
